 No właśnie, znowu specyficzny klimat królów i garniturów (bookletowych). Ale to zestawienie jest na tyle ciekawe, że spoko :)

Całkiem przyjemnie. Wcześniej był przełom, teraz - dziedzictwo, czyli pewnie swego rodzaju kontynuacja ścieżki wcześniej obranej. Poza "Heir Apparent" skojarzyło mi się z nowym Ulverem - tam też jest pełno królów, dziedziców itp.  :P Dalej jest jeszcze "Inheritance" Katatonii (a Mike zachwycał się ich ostatnim albumem), jakkolwiek nie chciałbym, żeby nowy Opeth stylistycznie nawiązywał do tej piosenki :P

O to to, właśnie :D Wprawdzie mi już ktoś marudzi, że to może zwiastować Deep-purple-ową płytę, ale bądźmy dobrej myśli. ;)
Czekamy na okładkę. I na płytę też. Fajnie, że już wiadomo, że jednak wrzesień :D

Mnie sie ten tytul kojarzy z checia nawiazania do zamierzchlych czasow - tylko teraz pojawia sie pytanie jak bardzo odlegle beda :)

"I've realized my influences for this album are so diverse that I can't really say what it sounds like.

"If I can compare it to any other band, it would have to be OPETH, but it's different from the stuff we've done before.

"I've listened a lot to ALICE COOPER for the last year, yet I can't say it sounds like 'No More Mr. Nice Guy'.

"I hope you'll like it once you hear it."

Patrząc po tytułach i komentarzach Mike'a o inspiracjach oraz o producencie to ja bym się spodziewał skrzyżowania BWP z mieszanką GR/W plus jakieś nowe elementy. Natomiast nie widzę strachu co do ilości piosenek. Na GR i MAYH też było ich sporo a trudno powiedzieć że brakowało im długich kawałków albo że są kiepskie. Na BWP stworzyli 10 numerów, na 2D chyba 14. To akurat nie powód do strachu.

Mnie sie "Nepenthe" momentalnie skojarzylo ze starym kawalkiem nieistniejacego juz Sentenced o tym samym tytule. W ogole to ciekawa historia z tym nepenthe.

"Haxprocess" od razu mi sie z "Hex Omega" skojarzyl :)

I chyba najbardziej sie boje tego "Folklore" - mam nadzieje, ze nie wyjdzie z tego jakis skoczny folk-metalowy kawalek. Ufam, ze Mike zadbal o to.
