Dzięki. :)

Tak mi się wzięło po paru latach grania na perkusji i słuchania gry perkusistów oraz słów ich własnych o muzyce którą tworzą. Dodam też, że to żadna skaza dla drummera jak kompozytor planuje partie perkusji, bo przecież dynamika utworu jest najistotniejsza w tym momencie. Nieważne kto napisze. Ważne kto zagra i co w to konkretnie włoży. Proces twórczy to bardzo złożona sprawa.

Swedish drummer Martin Lopez (ex-OPETH, AMON AMARTH) has joined forces with bassist Steve DiGiorgio (SADUS, TESTAMENT, DEATH, ICED EARTH), vocalist Joel Ekelöf (WILLOWTREE), and guitarist Kim Platbarzdis in a brand new project called SOEN. According to Martin , the band's music "will be melodic, heavy, intricate and very different than everything else."

SOEN is currently writing material for what is expected to eventually become the group's debut album.

Ciekawy numer. Echa Toola przywołuje tym razem bardziej. A z Opeth też jakby trochę - końcóweczka taka Majkowo-Maynardowa.

Lopezowy Soen powoli nabiera coraz pelniejszego ksztaltu - debiutancka plyta, zatytulowana "Cognitive" ma pojawic sie w lutym przyszlego roku i najprawdopodobniej znajda sie na niej nastepujace kawalki:

04. Last Light
05. Oscillation
06. Canvas
07. Ideate
08. Purpose
09. Slithering
10. Savia
11. Writhen (bonus track)



Nie zebym sie jakos tam nie mogl jej doczekac, ale z checia poslucham, co tam stworzyli - tym bardziej, ze poza Lopezem bedzie mozna tam Steve'a DiGorgio uslyszec, a to, jak wiadomo, absolutny wirtuoz.

Słyszałem już wcześniej oba te utwory i baardzo cieszy mnie fakt nabierania przez Soen coraz pełniejszego kształtu.
